Advertisements

What do you think? They are anti teen pregnancy-not anti teen ads and I agree with the woman who said "Whatever it takes" It is reality most teens are not aware of.

They seem accurate at to the point to me.

Teen pregnancy rates are falling. I understand what they are trying to do but the reality is that it is single women in their 20s that are having more children out of wedlock. This ad campaign is fine but not quite brave enough imo.

I don't have a problem with the ads, but I also doubt they will be very effective. Most teens are not thinking about consequences years in the future like whether or not their baby will drop out of high school. It would be money better spent advertising resources aimed at helping teens prevent pregnancy instead of scare tactics like, "LOOK AT THESE SAD BABIES."

I don't see anything wrong with the ads. The teens need to know what they're getting themselves into. Sorry, but the truth hurts.

I think the ads are a wake-up call, and especially like the one that asks the mother if she really thinks the father will stick around. Even the one girl who finds them negative, uses the words "defy the odds" to illuminate her own success.

I don't agree with some of the other campaigns Bloomberg has initiated, but this one has my support.

Waste of money...no teen is gonna give these ads a second thought, or glance.

It's interesting to call these ads "anti teen pregnancy". I don't really see them as warning against pregnancy per se, or the sex that leads to pregnancy. I see them as warning against carrying the baby to term.

The are pointless in every way. They will no more prevent teen pregnancy than posting the calories on the side of the french fry carton prevents obesity.

The money would be better spent on funding a teen health clinic.
