I think much remains to be seen how the sequestration will effect economic growth and the jobs picture, but it appears that the disasterous consequences of cutting spending during a recovery that liberals have been crowing about might not come to pass.

Oh, so now the economy is growing? If it goes down the drain over next 3-6 months due to these cuts, you'd be back whining about "those liberals". But then, you seem to at least realize that there is a risk to these cuts.

Too modest. We need to slash the Pentagon budget 50%, disband the DEA, TSA, and Homeland security, raise the tax rates for the 1%ers to 92% like it was under FDR, and do a lot of trust busting on Wall Street. We also should legalize drugs and prostitution and license and tax them.

That would give us plenty of money to completely fund education and UHC, pay down the National Debt, and encourage R&D into alternate energy technology to completely free us from our addiction to foreign oil.
