You're seriously behind in knowledge about a potential candidate. Try reading just a little. Do you really think she's "unknown" in Kentucky politics?

"Judd attended 13 schools before college, including the Sayre School[7] in Lexington, Kentucky, Paul G. Blazer High School in Ashland, Kentucky and Franklin High School in Tennessee.[8] ... An alumna of the sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of Kentucky, she majored in French and minored in anthropology, art history, theater and women's studies. She spent a semester studying in France as part of her major... She graduated from the UK Honors Program and was nominated to Phi Beta Kappa, but did not graduate with her class.[9] ... her half-sister Wynonna Judd gave her a historic farmhouse and some land in Williamson County, Tennessee, so she moved to Tennessee. That farmhouse has been her primary residence in the US ever since.

Although Judd is known to attend University of Kentucky basketball games regularly (frequently sitting in the student section), she has also attended several Kentucky football games. Judd has been a guest columnist for a local Kentucky newspaper, writing about the NCAA championships.[citation needed] Judd posed for a poster wearing only an ice hockey jersey for fund raising purposes for the University of Kentucky's hockey team. She is an avid practitioner of yoga, cooking, and gardening.

What Does being a doctor have to do with Politics? how does it make him any more qualified to be a politician than her?
Bring a DR shows a dedication to your education and your craft, it shows intelligence and it shows logical understanding coupled with problem solving abilities.

Besides knowing how to lie on camera, what does being an actress do to make you qualified to hold political office.

For the community college crowd among us, an ophthalmologist is an eye doctor.
Again, which has what to do with Politics ? Do i get to name all the organizations Judd is apart of now ?

Looks like she isnt a big believer in people having children either:

Quote:
They did not have children, with Judd telling the Sunday Mail, "It's unconscionable to breed, with the number of children who are starving to death in impoverished countries"

Isn't that convenient. Why don't you compare her to Reagan when he was 12?

Wow. She likes Kentucky sports as well as taking her clothes off on screen to get roles. Im sure that will win her some votes with those who are better off staying home on voting day.

And just to clarify, it's not the same as an optometrist- like the people who do your eye exams in a strip mall. Opthalmologists are MDs, and go through medical school, residency, etc, the same as any other doctor. My doctor has a brain tumor and she sees an opthamologist who specializes in tumors.

You are seriously making an argument that i should not compare Reagan before he was elected to the Governorship of California and Judd before she is even confirmed to be running for Senate in Kentucky, but instead argue Reagan as a sitting(at that time) President to someone who has never been elected ?

You're yet another C-D genius. Prior to becoming governor, Ronnie's experience consisted of being a poor actor and president of a union. Frankly, I'd rather have someone with no political experience step into being a senator, one of 100, than being the chief executive for a state.

Everyone should keep in mind some of the same worried Republicans complaining about Judd's lack of experience are touting Ricky Ricardo, who has about two years of national political experience.
