I don't think either one is going to happen. If the Democrats do take the House, though, they're setting up for a crushing defeat in 2016 because their primary excuse for their record of failure will be gone. When they didn't have Republicans to blame their ineptitude on from 2008 to 2010 they got sent packing.

I doubt that. Democrats do better in presidential election years. The economy will be better. The demographics shift will be even better for democrats and Hillary is going to bring out the base and maximize the women vote.

For the GOP,they have a legit chance at the senate. Alaska,Arkansas,West Virginia,North Carolina,Louisiana,Montana are all in play. Not to mention open seat possibilities in Iowa and Michigan. Franken could be vulnerable too.
What the heck difference does it make?

Are you still this clueless?

BINGO! I predict that no matter who wins what, we will still have our military spread all over the world, the banks and wall street will still be screwing the populace, Guantanamo will still be open and accepting new tenants, and the world as we know it, will go on.

No hope ... no change ... no trickle.

I just hope it remains split until we get real choices outside of (R) and (D).

There really IS no "split". It's all a game, and we are the pawns.

Georgia is looking to be a fun GOP primary.

They are all crazy, though personally I hope they go with Broun, I want to see the GOP squirm trying to defend a candidate that thinks Evolution and the Big Bang theory are "lies from the pit of hell" while saying with a straight face that they are not anti-science and anti-intellectual.

I still think that 2 terms for the senate and 6 terms for the house should be passed for term limits. then no career politician gets elected.

a max of 12 years total for any federal political office. meaning if you are a senator for 6 years, then you only get 1 term as president, as 2 terms would put you over 12 years.

also, no retirement at all for any in public service.
