Same s**t/different pope.
No one is forced to be catholic. If someone wants marriage equality, they should work for that end. I have no problem with you and your husband being equal.

Did the last Pope accomplish or stand for anything? That is a serious question. What did he do to make a difference?

Why do people put these guys on such a pedestal? You don't think they have a direct line to God, do you? I promise not to jump on you, if you say yes, I just don't understand the adoration. He's just a man.

Vice-president Joe Biden, the ranking Catholic in the administration, will lead the US delegation at the installation of the new pope.
This Pope should be against everything Biden stands for. If he's not, then he stands for nothing and it's just words.

So he's a Jesuit, named his 'Pope' name after a Jesuit founder St. Francis Xavier. Was appointed on 3-13-13, seeing as how 13 is of the most significant numbers across the world.. Its all coming together... Let's see how this plays out.

"I don't care about it, and because of this no one else is allowed to care about it." Amazing how open minded people are today.

Care about it all you want. Just don't force-feed it to everyone else and a department-wide email is just that.
