More guns + same lax gun laws + tea party nut jobs full of hatred for the government and people who don't look like them + stand your ground law in some states + even easier access to guns for criminals thanks to even more guns = what could possibly go wrong?
Typical nonsense.
The trend you describe has been going on for years, and crime has been dropping like a rock.
Your fantasies of racist Tea Partiers gunning people down for the hell of it are just that, fantasies. And your implication demonstrates that you, like many others, don't even know the specifics of SYG laws.

The rest of your post has been blown out of the water many times, that's why I did not post it, but, can you provide a link to the part that is in bold?

I also hold the following beliefs:
-Gun free zone signs make me laugh
-Concealed carry is okay with me
-AR's and semi AR's are also okay with me
-Every school should have an armed guard, or more than 1. I don't care how much it costs
-Mental crazies shouldn't have access to a firearm. Sure, they might still get one, but we should try to at least make it harder
Are these reasonable?
Do conservatives have any solutions to gun violence, or do they chalk it up as "well, **** happens"
In the first place the term "gun violence" is a distorted framing of the issue. Roughly half of deaths from gunshot in the US are suicides, yet there is no evidence that taking away guns would persuade people not to commit suicide. Japan has ultra-strict gun control but has always had a higher suicide rate than the US.
Then there are categories like homicide by gangs, drug dealers, etc., mass shootings by mentally ill people, and shootings by police or by citizens in self defense. All very different phenonena, but all lumped in togother as "gun violence."
Plus "gun violence" is poor English, since "gun" is not an adjective.
The fairly obvious solutions to drug-related deaths is to end the war on drugs, and the obvious solution to shootings by the mentally ill is to fix the profession of psychiatry, which is overwhelmingly infested with scam artists that do nothing but impede solutions to the problem of mental illness.
More guns and end the prohibition on drugs. Please explain how gun control influences the rate of homicide?
The facts say that MORE guns result in less gun homicides.

Gun crimes are committed by criminals and sociopaths, and laws banning guns will not deny them to people who want to break the law, and gun free zones only make these criminals and crazies feel safe.
Conceal carry is fine.
Automatic weapons are already banned, semi-auto are fine.
Armed school guards, is fine by me, as long as the schools bring back discipline into the class rooms at the same time.
Background checks are needed to keep criminals and crazies from getting anywhere near a gun.
