A person's wealth has a lot to do with style and class, both of which Willard doesn't have.

Mitt Romney is the most decent and charitable person EVER to run for public office. Al Gore is an opportunistic bum like all Democratic politicians.

If you think willard isn't an opportunist, you should step into reality. How else do you think he has amassed $250M in wealth.

The media picks the winners and elects the presidents. The media makes or breaks political candidates as politicians only react to what appears in the media not the media responding to what politicians do.

Interesting to see that AG had an income of about 197K in 1998 and 100mill$ in 2013. There is a story to rival any to date Horatio Alger rags to riches story. Why don't we see how Al did it as a lesson for everyone else to mimic and become success and rich?

Try to find what AG has recently donated to charity..look real hard... you'd figure he would donate a lot as charitable donations help mitigate your tax obligation. Guess the media isn't real proud of AG's charity work.

MR makes a 7mill$ donation over 2 years on a 14% tax rate. You can't even find AG's charitable donations except for the infamous 353$ in 1997. Interestingly enough there are all sort of articles claiming AG gave all his Peace prize cash to charity even though he only gave half about 700K. So AG gets the benefit of propaganda to make him look good.

"Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney donated $7 million to charity in the past two years, more than the $6.2 million the candidate and his wife paid in federal taxes in that period, documents the campaign released show."

********************************************
1998 - "nHelpGores Charitable Giving Raises Some EyebrowsWASHINGTON AllPolitics, April 15 In a 34page 1997 federal tax return, Vice President Al Gore and wife Tipper reported giving 353$ to charity, an amount much lower than donations the family has made in previous tax cycles."
"That figure is less than onetenth the typical contribution amount for someone with the Gores adjusted gross income of 197,729$. That fact has caused some bewilderment in philanthropic circles because of the vice presidents good guy image as an advocate for public service and social causes, the Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday."

2013 - "American politician, author and businessman,Albert Arnold “Al†Gore, Jr. has an estimated net worth of $100 million."

************************************************** ************
From Green Answers we have 'incorrect' information...read that as propaganda....AG gave all his Peace Prize money to charity...according to several other sources AG gave about half the money to charity. about 700K vs 1.5 mill

"Well, from what I could find, there was a bit of a scandal in 1998 when it was revealed that the Gore family had only donated $353 to charity in 1997. More recently, however, Gore donated the money he won from the Nobel Piece Prize in 2007, which amounted to 1.5 million, to the Alliance for Climate Protection"

************************************************** *****************

"Former Vice President Al Gore has announced plans to donate the money he will receive for the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize to charity."

Why does the left consider the name a person doesn't use as derogatory? When people do that, I think less of them with no interest in knowing them better. My opinion of a person I've admired drops to zero.

I have to say, if that drops your opinion of a person you admired to zero, it pretty much establishes that your opinion wasn't really worth much in the first place.

Sigh. Take out his mandatory tithing, and his contributions are pretty average and in the same range as most others.

Here is a breakdown of his giving:

2. Brigham Young University: $525,000
3. The United Way: $177,000
4. Right to Play: $111,500
5. The George W. Bush Library: $100,000
6. Operation Kids: $85,000
7. Center For Treatment of Pediatric MS: $75,000
8. Harvard Business School: $70,000
9. City Year: $65,000

Since I have no opinion about you in the first place, your opinion is of no consequence. Why would you have the need to insult me?

That's easy, because it does not support the liberal agenda.
