Yet this is why the Republicans lost the election so soundly. No one believes in this propaganda. For instance "You didn't build that" when listened to incontext talks about the infrastructure needed to support business

You can open the mcdonalds, sure. . but you "didn't build" the road to that mcdonalds, the currency the mcdonalds uses, etc.

If you can't attack the real issues, and insist on fighting ghosts, than mainstream america will continue to walk away. They smell bull****, apparently.
Actually, yes, those business-owners' did "build that." As taxpayers, they in fact paid for those roads to be constructed. Indeed, the United States Government does not have a federal road construction crew to build those roads. And the United States Government did not generate the tax revenue to pay for the roads. The PEOPLE did. In other words, the PEOPLE built that, not the GOVERNMENT. How on earth did you let this go right over your head?

Because you're a liberal who can't see beyond the words of a politician that you obviously worship.

Or is this country swinging fascist..from the government's actions.

The country is changing, the government's role is changing as well.
But it seems to be all over the map and in no single direction.
Yet all of these directions lead to more control by the FedGov.
^^
Exactly.

I think the real point here is that the government did not build that and they should not have built that. We are not a communist country but some people seem to want to enjoy the fruits of other peoples labor. If you don't like working for others, go start your own company. But don't deny a person the fruits of their own labor. And this government owes no one anything except to keep them safe so they can do for themselves. That is the one job the government is not doing today. If it were doing that job our country would be free of all illegal immigrants. Employers would not have them around to have to check with a database before hiring someone. That people hire illegals is a government problem. The government is not doing its job but it seems to want to do everything it is not supposed to do.

When the illegals are deported, our major problems will be over; if that ever happens.
The government shouldn't have built and expanded the national highway system?
Really?

As for the whole "not keeping us safe" meme - how much are you willing to pay for that?
Don't want higher taxes, so, where are those salaries going to come from?

Amazing that they chant it every time and think its a legitimate argument. Amazing that they overlook the very fact that the people who pay taxes are the people who fund the building of roads and bridges.

Over the weekend the Cypress government put a freeze on everyone's bank account and tomorrow will vote to determine if they will confiscate the citizens money to pay for government overspending. People are in a panic and going to ATM machines to try and get their money. It is the same difference as confiscating our money but instead the government is getting bolder and just taking it.

All the government should have said is we need to confiscate your money to pay for roads and bridges and no one would have cared. LOL

Think, Chris, think!
Yes we DID build that. We DID build the roads to McDonalds, the currency, etc. Who do you think pays for the printing equipment and the manpower to run it, and the interest on what is borrowed? Who (if not the taxpayer) do you think paid for the paving, the repair and maintenance of the road to McDonalds and any other business? And, remember, McDonalds pays taxes too!

It's no wonder the left votes as it does; they can't differentiate between propaganda and truth. They have no ability to analyze what they hear. They just soak it up without questioning and then move out like robots.

You're right about the mainstream media though. They do smell bull****. They manufacture it daily and are steeped in it.

You beat me to it -- and well said.

The Cypress thing is sobering, though. Because Obama wants us to be like them and if it can happen over there, we can be in a situation where our Feds do the same thing here. Don't think it can't happen. We've had it too good for too long and have grown used to it, but it's slipping through our fingers now.

lol, Obama and the Dems must be laughing their asse* off at the US citizenry. Who would have thunk it would have been so easy. When I first heard the liberal argument using roads and infrastructure my first thought was nooo, people can't be that stupid.

And we will all soon have to choose. Do I want to be a road worker or a teacher.

Obama tells you he needs higher taxes to pay for infrastructure (roads and bridges). But he and the Democrats also claim the government builds the roads and bridges, and the tax payer has nothing to do with it. You can't have it both ways. Obama doesn't need to raise taxes. The government will build the roads and bridges. <problem solved>

Its all now reduced to garble garble....No one would vote in this administration for a 15 yr term because everyone knows exactly what the deal is...the whole thing is intentionally being taken apart and broken down into debt, chaos and failure....there is nothing that can suggest otherwise and everyone knows it, its a whirlwind.. thats the problem.
