It is discrimination against children to allow same-sex couples to adopt them.

What do you think?

How would it possibly be discrimination to have a loving home?

No, gay people are no different than anyone else, and have the ability to provide loving, stable homes for children.
Sad that in 2013 that there are people that would still question this.

Is it discrimination against children to allow "minorities" to adopt children?

Look, just because a segment of the population is too stupid to realize that discrimination against a particular group (of whatever minority) is no longer socially acceptable, does NOT mean that children adopted by members of this group are being discriminated against.

It's like blaming the victim rather than the perpetrator. The adoptive parents are as loving as any other adoptive parents, they provide as well, they want the same "good life" for their adopted children.

Frankly, it's time that anachronistic behaviors such as discrimination based on immutable traits are rooted out - once and for all. Alas, that likely requires a large scale societal shift which, fortunately, has been occurring for quite some time. It's painfully slow, though. Just look at the anti-homosexual threads on this forum and you'll quickly see how many people are still mentally stuck in the past...

It's those people who are deserving of blame for it is them who create a hostile climate.

Hmmm. Just checking---
Evaluate the needs of the child.
Investigate the safety and ability of the potential parents to provide for the child.
Place the child in a stable, loving family that wants to raise a child.

Nope, not discrimination.

I think that either your life experiences are very limited or you are very narrow minded. There are tons of children adopted into same sex homes who are healthy and happy.

What about the kids born to same-sex parents? Is that discrimination too?

Nope

If they can provide a kid with a good home, a good education, and can instill morality and a good work ethic in them, who cares?

When I was coaching kids soccer in Illinois, we had a black kid who had two white "fathers". Both were intelligent, hard working professionals. This kid was fast as hell, a great soccer, baseball, and football player, and was a straigth A student who also played violin. Besides that, he was nice and polite as hell. I wonder what the kid would have been like without them?

Hell no. The kids are lucky to have two loving adults to raise them. The only ones that think that same sex couples are not up to the job are prejudiced people.
