A recent poll from the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life addressed this issue. I thought it might be interesting to do our own poll here and then compare results. After the poll has run for threes days, if there are enough responses, I will post a comparison.
Well since most of the real answers are not part of the poll, it is impossible to collect factual data and makes the poll skewed to what you want the answer to be. You and your biased poll have failed.

I disagree, since the reasons listed are those that have been most often cited in the last four years. But if you believe that the "real" reasons are not included in the poll, you are welcome to submit your own reason for why Republicans hate President Obama in the comment section.

The reasons cited in the poll, are mainly reasons that the Democrats claim, not what Republicans actually consider.
I do not hate Obama, but I do not like his policies, his platform, or his stances on many issues that are meaningful to me. Since he is not black, one could not hate him for being black. Obama is as much white as he is black.
Since I am not a Republican, I must use observation. It seems there is a pre-conceived opinion of Obama by Republicans and then they go out to find the "reasons" why they hold that opinion.
Then, there is the double standard. According to them, Obama takes too many vacations even though Bush took more while they were silent about them. The deficit became the most important issue on January 20, 2009, even though Cheney said, "deficits don't matter," to GOP fan fair.

That would seem to fly in the face of the fact that many Republicans have made several of these claims at one time or another. After all, it isn't, for instance, the Democrats who have claimed that Obama is not an American, or that Obama is a socialist. And though the poll does include some of what Democrats think that Republicans believe (whether covertly or overtly), it also includes what many Republicans have been saying since his first presidential campaign was launched.

a poll written by a democrat w/hurt feelings.
If it makes you feel better, I dispise joe Biden even more than barry.
obama is a liar, traitor and has hurt blacks more than helped them.
He has done very little to make our country better.
Would it be possible for you to cite specifics instead of tossing general assertions? How is mr. Obama a traitor for instance?
