It isn't? ... Abraham Lincoln seized control of the railroads and the telegraph .. among other things .. for military use, and by that, he proceeded to spank the Southern Leaders into submission.

Oh the north kicked the crap out of the south in that war, but it was the South's fault for losing the war.

To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;

Anything else not found here it to the states under the 10th Amendment..

The use of the word union really doesn't apply to what we have. People think we need a dominate at the top of a hierarchy. That is hardly a union.

It isn't what the government would be able to do for people, it is the horrendous things it is doing now, that we want to stop.

Again, a debt that is bigger than all the money in the world. Trillions wasted on a failed drug war and hundreds of thousands of innocent people killed over-seas.

This government is easily the biggest force of global tyranny ever, but you can't see that through your "rah rah, America!" colored shades.
