FBI Arrests NASA Contractor Employee Trying To Flee To China

I only have one question: Why on God's Green Earth would the United States assume that having foreign contractors working for/in conjunction with NASA.....Chinese foreign contractors no less!..............would in fact be a noble program in which none of the participants should be expected to have nefarious intentions?

Ok two questions: How stupid can we get??

The US is nothing but a research and development arm for China. We draw the blueprints, China builds it.

The amount of intellectual property stolen by China is mind-boggling, pretty much all encompassing the military and free-markets.

We've already lost this battle.

Because, for decades, we have imported migrants for some of our top physicists, surgeons, and other research scientists.

Our poor and inefficient domestic educational system forces us to shop overseas for qualified candidates.

It's almost as if off-shoring entry-level positions in technical fields has a negative effect on the ability to groom talent in-country. Whoever would've thunk?
