Told ya all. Just like I stated over a month ago. Reid is a "silent" RKBA supporter. The only reason that he beat that lunatic last time is because a large group of western RKBA folks supported him just for this situation with Finstiener and Biedum we knew was coming in Onumbnuts second term.

Reid owes RKBA advocates in position of political power who control the money out West for his 2010 win. We are the reason that lunatic GOP candidate lost, not the hotel workers in Vegas like many people believe.

What did assault weapon mean anyways?
The way I saw it, there was no clear classification based on the only properties that matter, from what I understand:
ammunition type
accuracy
range
rate of fire
portability

Boy HappyTexan, you sure have old Reid pegged right. When the votes count, and the votes count. Reid does not want to go toe to toe with the NRA , and set himself up as the fall guy.
And from past experience, we know the great lengths this side will go thru, just to insure their votes.

Just curious, could a pro "Assault" weapons bill be introduced now to block any future attempt? Preferably one that could end up in front of the SCOTUS to put this to end once and for all?
Now that we have a little more time, seems to be the perfect opportunity to fire back??

how about legislation to read all the amendments to be read as written, and not how they think they are to be read.
