In the majority of legal states it is illegal to consume in public. But a ton of folks get away with vaping it or eating it because no one can really tell.

But conservatives want to lock people up for using marijuana because of the off chance that it isn't completely safe and it supposedly offends Jesus (even though the Bible says God created every herb-bearing seed). Meanwhile, everyone should be able to own and use a gun, a tool actually meant for killing, without a license or background check. That's hypocritical.

Not only that...smoke cigarettes in a building and you can smell stale cigarette smoke for a long, long time. Pot smoke on the other hand dissipates pretty quickly.

But bawac34618 makes things up about conservatives because he needs big government to make decisions for him. It's child like.

Probably best to not smoke anything, period. But you know whats worse?
Men with guns kidnaping, caging, robbing , beating, tazing, gasing, electrocuting, shooting anyone who does.

While locking people up for smoking pot is ridiculous, that doesn't somehow mean a person ought to require government approval to exercise a Constitutional right to protect life & property from violence & tyranny. A poor argument you've made here.

I'm around both on a daily.

I've never felt or heard that cigarettes are socially unacceptable and pot is cool. I'm not sure where you getting that from.

Both are not good for your health... the whole move to legalize pot isn't driven by health reasons and isn't a claim that one is better than the other. Yes.. many of the health impacts of cigarettes can be applied to pot. The fact that one is legal and the other is not is pure hypocrisy and government over reached (Marijuana wasn't banned because of health reasons.... it started as racial and perpetuated by profiteering)

Some people are sensitive to different types of smoke; cigars, cigarettes, pot and other herbs. Some are sensitive to a set of different types. So debating which is worse is pointless. While I am a smoker (cigar, vape, and pot), I do realize others around me and do it responsibly. If an establishment doesn't want smoke, I respect that.... but to ban smoking indoors establishment all together is IMO an overreach of government and that decision should rest on the owner of the establishment.

Pot is the drug of the hipsters and cigs are preferred by the poor working class. The left despises the latter and loves the former, so cigs are bad, pot is good.

You have a very shallow view of reality when it comes to cannabis.

Very shallow.
