To answer the OP, nobody gives 2 hoots about gays until they get in faces and yelp about their rights. If they keep their pieholes shut and stop being flamboyant, nobody will notice. When they feel the need to advertise their sexual predilectons, people will wish they would simply S.T.F.U.
...Didn't everyone who got their rights have to yelp about them though?

Yeah, but for 'wingers, everyone has to ''know their place'' within the ''natural order''. So they regard gays asserting their rights in kinda the same way as whenever black folks get ''uppity''...

I'm not interested in the sex lives of my friends, why should I care what strangers do?

Aint nobody got time for that
I couldn't care less what consenting adults do behind closed doors.

However, if people demand sexual freedom, they should also assume full responsibility for the outcome of such acts.

Leave the tax payer out of it.

Easy peasy!

I don't see what being homosexual and infidelity have in common.

I mean honestly. One is a breach of trust. The other is a sexual preference.

I don't care what people do behind closed doors but I do believe we should encourage fidelity. I also support open relationships. There's a difference.

Edit: I'm not supporting gossip either. I honestly don't care

Did you also feel this way about black people when they wanted equal rights, and not treated as second class citizens? Or how about women?

I could say the same thing about religious people. Worship at home, keep your pieholes shut and stop advertising.

Your lack of tolerance for people whose behaviors you don't like is ironic.

Personally, I support gay rights and also the rights of people to speak their minds and vote their conscience on topics including viewpoints that I don't agree with.

Wow, you had me fooled that you were an American for quite some time.

You sound like Che, quite seriously.
