New York offers $500 reward for reporting illegal gun owners | Fox News

As a gun owner I am perfectly fine with this law, but at only with one addition. If you accuse someone of owning a gun illegally and is proven they own it legally, then that person gets a $500 fine, which will be used to help support the rewards for illegal gun ownership.

Funny thing is, they are out to turn honest gun owners into criminals. But they put no such effort into apprehending, prosecuting and IMPRISIONING actual, violent, vicious criminals. Burglars, armed robbers, rapists, gang bangers, all get coddled. But own a piece of plastic a few inches too long and the geniuses in power throw the book at you. Better not get caught with a salt shaker or Big Gulp in the Rotten Apple.

The insane gun laws passed in NY are unconstitutional, they've already been blocked by a judge.

Any law that is unconstitutional is not a law.

Shouldn't one have a modicum of information or honesty before they post?

As stated the laws made were unconstitutional.

If you have a true criminal with a true illegally owned gun(not one that just looks scary to the uneducated masses) That is convicted by a jury of his peers through due process.

Feel free to make the maximum penalty to take him out to a public square and execute him.

Just turning neighbor against neighbor all while the liberals applause.

So if I call in some liberal as having an illegal gun do they also lose their 4th amendment right while the police destroy their house looking for an illegal gun?

First they offered rewards for my gun, but I didn't own a gun so I didn't care.

Then they offered rewards for my Big Gulp, but I only drank 12 oz cans so I didn't care.

Then they came for my coffee...

I think they should fine the illegal gun owners $500 to fund the program.
