They also said that they asked the police if the mother is a suspect and the police declined to comment on that.
yeah, i did hear where the police emphasized that they're not ruling anyone out at this point.

No, it wouldn't shock me at all.

However, this looked like a very clear case of a robbery and two cretins being fools.

I know Brunswick and so I could not see how a woman could walk to the PO and back home and then either suddenly kill her child as she neared her house (makes no logical sense) or how she could kill her child in her home, put her baby in the stroller, conceal that she was walking around with a dead baby.

And picturing a woman stopping on a sidewalk down from the PO and near her home to shoot her baby (and herself) . . . well . . . that is nonsense.

What I am shocked about is how others would be skeptical.

He is just saying that to keep the community calm. Racial tensions could run high after a situation like this, especially if folks in the community think that some family knows full well their kid(s) is probably the perp and isn't coming forward.

I personally don't think that she killed her child, but she or the father could be involved. People are skeptical because people have killed or to conspired to kill their children/spouses/parents and had the killer injur them in the process to make it look good.

Good.

According to that article, this woman has now lost 2 sons:

It's not the mother's first loss of a child to violence. Sherry West said her 18-year-old son, Shaun Glassey, was killed in New Jersey in 2008. She still has a newspaper clipping from the time.

Default Punks shoot baby in head during robbery

Robbery?

Robbers take things. These guys didn't.

They just shot the kid and then ran. It was more like a hired hit. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.
