A filibuster is unnecessary. Let the Senate pass whatever, it will not pass the House. A filibuster will just be political grandstanding by two "rising stars" wanting more TV exposure. I am totaly against any form of gun control, but I get disgusted by politicians and their games.

It is actually practical though, aren't you for anything that stalls the government churning out new laws, taxes and regulations?

I get your point on the House, but I'd prefer 24/7/365 filibusters for a long time.

Yes, Rand Paul is very impressive; he's not afraid to speak his mind and criticize Obama. In addition, he can draw some of the phony civil libertarians who think the (D) party is their friend. Hope he runs in 2016!
