You have to dress up as one of the Village People and know all the words to YMCA.
I thought everybody knew that.

This^^. I didn't see your post before I posted, but they're ABSOLUTELY a great place for a girls night out when you're young. No one is going to bother you--everyone just wants to be silly and have a good time.

Same ground rules.--Don't be a rude a*hole. Gay guys can fight just as good as straight guys.

Well, that defeats the purpose of the girls going to the gay clubs. I guess the straight guys see it as less competition.

Yes. A former best friend of mine was a lesbian and she brought me to several gay bars here and there. Above all else, it's a bar hence the only qualifier to get in is to be over the age of 21.

I just sat at the bar drinking Coke while she did her thing. Did the same thing down in Florida with another female friend of mine.

What's the purpose behind your question? Thinking about going to a gay bar by yourself?

That's pretty bizarre. Because a guy might not want to hang out at a gay club, that means he's not boyfriend material?

It's probably a good indication of how he feels about gays. My close friend is gay. If I mention this or talk turns to gays & a date has a negative reaction, I'm kicking them to the curb, do not pass go. No question.

I mean, if anyone is let in, what is the point of identifying as a gay business?
A straight guy entering a gay bar shouldn't get offended if gays hit on him.
It should be expected.

That would be a difference.
