What friend? I see posters. I do not goose-step. So whatever anyone else thinks is their business.

What are half the threads in this thread discussing? How many of those issues were brought to the front stage by Occupy?

Whether you want to admit it or not, they were right about many things.

You can make a point without hurting people and breaking things. That seems to escape you.

Oh that's right. It was the OM that helped the banks and the economy. Spare me. The OM stepped in to raise hell AFTER the chit started hitting the fan.

No sh*t.

This from a man not involved with Occupy.

Occupy Oakland mass arrest attempt caught on video - YouTube

Let's slow this thing down. Respond to this video instead of rambling.

^^ The above video was taken the same night there was vandalism in city hall and the Occupy Oakland crowd was deemed the most violent group.

Well violence breeds violence and the cops are definitely the instigators in the video. Protesters are blocked from leaving the rally, not given a command to disperse, and then the cops come in with guns drawn and start beating people with batons.

Note the person who filmed the video was just a local resident not affiliated with Occupy.

The protesters I knew were none of the above.

The opposition simply seems lazy. Content in the direction of this country. My generation will fix that. There's too much unrest and too much support from those older who also see what's going on.
The occupy movement is one lawless, riotous act after another, if anything, the peaceful, legal protests were in the minority. You may have known some peaceful ones, and I have no doubt that thousands of them were peaceful. But when the left in this country get going in a public protest, the violent, anarchists who make up a significant portion of the left, come out too. There are bad actors on the right too, but they are so small they can't even fill a phone booth.

The conservative Tea party movement was very vocal, but peaceful, and is most definitely not "content in the direction of this country."

I know why you have the sentiment that you do now. Your a partisan hack.

Do you support the Tea Party bringing guns, including semi-autos to the protests? How would you feel if Occupy did the same? Showed up armed at protest.

You cannot simultaneously ignore the common and overt violence within the OWS movement, and then just complain about the rare occasions of violence by the police.
