If a news report is proven to be a lie then the "liar" is required to make a retraction and correction on air. That is the minimum. Large fines may be levied and repeat behaviour will result in the loss of the "License to broadcast" which would effectively put the offender out of business.
It's sure fun watching you squirm. You claimed, and I quote:
They would not even be allowed a licence to broadcast in Canada
nothing whatsoever about a 'Fox news canada'
Your words. Enjoy
They don't broadcast in Canada. They broadcast to Canada but not from Canada. There is a big difference there. I can assure you that if a lying piece of crap network like fox tried to produce such tripe and broadcast such crap from Canada, about Canadians, for Canadians it would just not be allowed by our CRTC standards.

Bill O'Reilly is FAR from "TEA Party" ... he is very much an establishment Republican.
I am 26 and I watch FOX News on the rare occasions that I actually watch the news on TV. People my age get their news from websites and breaking news emails, we don't watch the news and read newspapers like my grandparents did when they were alive.
Can't speak for everyone but most people in my circle of friends also tune in to FNC when they (rarely) actually watch the news on TV. I gravitate towards conservatism so most of my friends are also conservatives or at least lean center-right.

Bill would be classified as a RINO by many on the hard right.
On the other hand Mr. O'Riley writes very good books.
Hmmm.....
"Killing Jesus"
"Killing Lincoln"
"Killing Kennedy"
and coming this fall, "Killing Patton"
Is it just me or does anyone else notice a very weird and disturbing pattern to the subjects of O'Reilly's books?
Why is he so fixated on the assassinations of famous leaders?
Perhaps the Secret Service should start a file on him.
Seriously
