Probably not. But they certainly did not fly there on Air Force One. Probably an Air force Gulfstream.

Pond scum has its usefulness, so you're really giving them a bit too much value than they deserve.

What makes you think they flew AF-1 to Nassau? If you had ever been to Nassau, you would know you will never see a plane that size in Nassau. You'd fly to Fort Lauderdale or Miami, and get onto a smaller plane and go from there.

Well this isn't exactly a thread about "rich" people sending their daughters on vacation. It's about the POTUS sending his children on vacation where certain expenses will be charged to the taxpayer. Are you rich, because as a taxpayer you are financing these vacations to some degree. I couldn't care less if they took a vacation once a month, as long as Obama paid for it out of his own pocket and there was no cost to the taxpayer.

Last year it was Mexico - Certain expenses charged to the taxpayer came to $115,500. Malia brought along 12 friends and 25 secret service agents. Now, did Malia really require 25 agents?

I think they should be able to vacation but there is definitely something foul when it costs taxpayers tens of thousands of dollars for them to do so. I suppose it's what we have to live with if we want to keep them protected.

Bears repeating. The girls have security regardless of where they are.

Are you claiming security costs are the same regardless of where the POTUS/VP/FLOTUS? etc are going?

Reagan did the right thing. If you read the article you would know that. The strike was illegal and they were demanding a 100% pay increase. They thought they would get what they wanted by holding the airline industry hostage.
