Not too long ago I was reading a "Whatever happened to Jim Carrey?" story. I don't usually watch movie comedies so it was news to me he was no longer "big." But look what a little controversy did for that guy Piers Morgan. He went from nobody is talking about him to everybody is talking about him just by saying something a little controversial. Maybe Carrey (or his agent) thought a little bad publicity is still publicity.
I don't think he came here because he lacked FREEDOM in Canada, but because Hollywood pays the best. As for the video, I just see Jim Carrey being Jim Carrey. Some people are so thin skinned that they always find a way to be offended.
If there wasn't such a gun controversy it would probably be no big deal, he wasn't being funny. If he cared so much about children he wouldn't have walked completely away from an autistic child that still wonders were he is.

He's a brain dead Hollywood star, the place is full of them. They hang out in groups of other like-minded, ignorant, brain dead libs, and think they are the norm of society.
Jim Carrey should have done some research before attacking Charleton Heston. Heston was a civil rights pioneer who actual went on the original "Freedom Rides" into the south where any white person's life was put in danger. He did not have the luxury of an armed bodyguard like Jim Carrey.
