There is no big deal here, people just want to make a deal out of nothing. It is his middle name is it not.

It is just that some are trying to imply here, that the use in this case, is to imply something neagtive. People can be neagtive about his first name too.

Not the first time, people have lashed out or made fun, or were negative about a President's name. I think if people want to judge someone based solely on his name, and not the facts we know about this person, that is childish. And inmature. I judge based solely, on how trutful i beleive a person is, do they keep their word, are they respectuful to everyone the same, or treat some people more special!!!!!!!!

Do they resort to childish bullish behavior when they do not get their way, this is some of the way, i view a person, not by a first name the last name or the middle.

This has been a point of discussion for years now. If you seriously don't understand the underlying racism and xenophobia present when his critics call him Hussein then I just don't know what else to tell you

Why would a person be embarrassed by their name?

If Obama's middle name didn't ignite islamophobia and xenophobia in less educated individuals, none of his critics would call him by his middle name.

To stress that he is an "other", to pretend that where his father came from some how means he isn't a "real American", and generally just to be a racist piece of trash. It's the Republican way.

Teabaggers thought it would cost him the election, looks like they were wrong.
