Concern trolling noted, and thanks for acknowledging that many people (yourself included?) do indeed find "pro-gay" views to be offensive.

I'll play along: Does your concern with the rights of black people extend to the right of black people with HIV to go about their daily lives without fear of being harassed, even if they have done nothing whatsoever to expose anyone to the virus?

Proposed Kan. bill calls for HIV positive people to be quarantined | fox4kc.com

...
Presumably they will move to include people with viral hepatitis B and C, which are far easier get.

I wonder how many firefighters in Kansas have contract HIV in the line of duty, this must have been cited during the discussions in the legislature.

I was pointing to a case where the govt. quarantined someone, not the ease of transmission.

I'm praying, just praying that you guys are pulling my leg at this point....the alternative is too sad to contemplate.

Kansas, one of the few places on the planet that thinks being recognized as the home of religious extremism, misogyny and ignorance is a feature instead of a bug.

1. Theocratic, crony capitalist state government owned by Koch Industries - check
2. Creationism in the public schools - check
3. A systematic stripping of civil rights from women and homosexuals - check
4. Laws and fundamentalist religious beliefs that would feel at home to a Saudi mullah or the Taliban - check
5. A population of "Real Americans" and rubes that gleefully celebrate their state's authoritarian excesses as examples of enhanced freedom and smaller government - priceless

You failed to understand that one is highly contagious, the other is not. Do you not understand that?

Come on, you need to be more clever than "so are you but what am I". We are playing politics here, style counts.

BTW, my kid is learning about evolution in school this year and I live in KS....could you explain this impossibilty since you stated that evolution isn't taught in KS? I mean were you mistaken or were you playing politics?

So the "activists" think health officials should just look the other way? Well I got news for you folks Obamacare is coming to town soon and you will do what your told by your board of health advisors. Playing the gay card won't work when they are trying to cut costs. They will quarantine you and let you die. End of story.

I gave examples of how carriers of both diseases could be deemed to be putting others at risk.

One just working as a cook in public, the other as a hired prostitute.

You will notice I didn't give an example of someone giving people HIV by cooking them a meal right?

For your statement to be correct then the cook and prostitute examples would have to be comparable disease vectors which they are not.

P.S. People get jailed for having sex with HIV+ and not disclosing it. If you deny that someone undertaking such actions should be jailed but not be quarantined I'm thoroughly confused.
