The US is ranked 37th in the world, beat by countries with socialized health care.
Next time if you ever need major surgery go to Cuba and see how wonderful socialized medicine really is!

Insurance companies have wreaked the US healthcare system by skimming too much money off the top. This is why we need to eliminate private health insurance and pay our medical bills through a Universal government operated system. The savings created by eliminating private overhead, profit and administrative costs will keep the overall bill the same. Only now it will be paid directly to the providers without the insurance company skim. We need to derail that gravy train.

So you want us to pour hundreds of billions into the federal government, and have those greedy, self-serving, corny capitalist, wasteful spending, vote-buying, irresponsible, incompetent boobs blow our money? At least the insurance companies have to not steal so much from us, that we drop their policy and change insurance companies. When government run single payer is the only game in town, they will care less what quality of service we receive, much less give a rat's ass about the cost.

You can't actually believe that government overhead is any cheaper?!?!? LOL

What we need is to go back to the way it used to be. Insurance was for catastrophic events, people knew the prices of various care and treatments and paid cash for everything.

I don't go buy a hamburger and then find out the price after eating it......

As a matter of fact Medicare overhead is less than private health insurance overhead.

It's because Americans on average don't have an emergency fund, and they are under insured. Disability and term life insurance can help avoid these things.

Even with obamacare, we are still going to have medical bills, and still have people go bankrupt because of them. Not sure exactly what you think obamacare is going to stop there?
