To be offensive towards a political persuasion (a chosen trait) is completely different than being offensive towards a race (a given trait). So I am not seeing this *******/nggr comparison.

I never said its not offensive, certainly it is, that is the point of saying it. But its completely different than being racially offensive, being its offending someone based on their beliefs as apposed to offending someone based on their race. Its a harmless kind of offensive, and most people could use some offending.
That is pretty shocking. Not only that he said it but that he felt comfortable saying in front of his parent and in public.
