Maybe he's a rebellious teen, maybe he's a jerk. I have friends who did their best to raise their kids the right way but, despite their efforts, the kids haven't always turned out as hoped. It happens to parents in all classes - why should the rich and famous be different? And he spells his name "Sean".

Well, people of all political parties use words like that. From the president comparing a bad bowling performance to the Special Olympics to junior high kids in the hallway calling each other "retards". It is very immature and unfortunate.

I'm not condoning the use of those terms against another human being, at all.

However, the idea that this guy was just innocently doing his job is naive at best.

Those photographers go to unspeakable lengths to get to their subjects and cross all bounds of any kind of decency. They will push and push and hound and goad until people snap. Often, on purpose so they can get this kind of reaction on tape. They make people and their families lives a living hell. Appalling behavior on BOTH sides, no doubt.

Well that comes with being famous as do the riches. You don't want to be famous go get a real job and the reporters won't care about you. That doesn't give you the right to mouth off like that to anyone. Of course the liberals on this thread would rather attack the OP than what was said by one of their darlings offspring. No surprise.

Sounds like the senior Penn should have punched the son in the jaw. He seems to be too old to use a belt.

Shouldn't this be in the gossip forum? This is the politics forum, not the children of celebrities forum.

Penn seems to be somewhat politically active, arguably through his acting and directing. I see no problem.

Penn is an actor, and the story, from a gossip show is about his teen son

Trash.
