She was crazy to have all that stuff in the house with her mentally ill son. If it was just her, I would say fine, she is a collector, hobbyist, hunter, whatever. But her son was severly disturbed and she knew it. I know a mom like this, letting her creepy basement dwelling, medicated, violent game playing son have a whole stock of "collectible" knives and swords. WHY???

That's her decision to make. Her rights don't end due to her son.
Adam Lanza could have killed 46 kids at an elementary school with 1/50th of that list at his disposal, given some training he could have killed 46 kids with a sword and some knives. A truck purposely driven through a fence at lunch time could kill a lot more than 26 kids at a school.
That really is not much in the way of guns or ammo. If you are buying a couple of boxes of ammo a time at the local gun shop you are doing it wrong.

Exactly. Anyone who would list empty boxes of ammo as part of an arsenal needs mental help. I've got thousands of cardboard boxes in my house, I guess I'm a bad guy.
