And STILL no one has been able to show how they are marketing underwear to 12 year olds.
They don't even sell childrens sizes. Why would they market to children if they don't have a product that will fit them?
It's more comparable to when a boy wears a TapouT brand.
Isn't that skater style, more urban street clothing? My kids tend to dress a little preppier, and in more classic clothing. VS isn't an "urban street" style brand. Many of their friends who are female, and who are also a little more conservative in their clothing choices, wear the VS pink line.
When it's lingerie it is. Pink, Red, and Black are probably the 3 most used 'colors' in the business and each have a reason behind them.
Actually, a friend of mine covers lingerie for a popular magazine. The top two colors are sea foam and lavander. They don't photograph as well so they often aren't used editorially.
I'm not obsessing. I'm telling you the reason behind the name. You guys keep insist it's merely innocent.
No, I am insisting that it is called "marketing," and do you know what all girls have from young to old, "vaginas." So yeah, pink can mean "vagina" because all girls have them and that is who they are marketing to.
