You have issues.

I have underwear that comes up almost to my arm pits that I wore for surgery from VS. SOOOOO sexy

They're a lingerie company, why do you think they chose the name? Keep on saying it's just the color if that makes you feel better.

I know--I have some of their "granny panties" too. Not exactly what I'd call sexy, lol.

Craziness.
Some of these posters act as if they have no choice but to buy the stuff.

Makes me wonder just who is the parent in these households.

Don't like it, don't buy it.

They're using their marketing more effectively nowadays. I remember when Victoria's Secret was only available by catalogue in the early '80s. Teens were wearing that stuff back then, it just wasn't marketed toward them like today. And back then it was more risque to shop for lingerie. Madonna kinda helped to popularize lacy sexy lingerie back in the '80's. She was way more instrumental in spreading that stuff to teen girls than Victoria's Secret.

Huh?

Calling body parts by their actual names leads to promiscuity?

Really?

Yep, apparently the nuts think that the word "vagina" means women want to have sex with random people. Married women obviously never say the word "vagina" because their man owns that part of their body.

I have a few sweaters and even a couple of coats that I bought from Victoria's Secret. Their casual wear is great, and not the least bit "suggestive."

Decent, moral people shouldn't even know what body parts they HAVE, never mind what they're called.

Is the argument here that girls are more likely to be become sexually active at an early age because of the kinds of panties and bras they wear?

I think people are reading a bit too much into all of this. To begin with, the VS campaign seems to be directed at girls in their early to mid teens, as opposed to twelve year olds. For better or worse, there is a big difference. Secondly, I think girl's panties with a "Hello Kitty" theme are a whole lot creepier than what some of these say.

The link includes a slide show of "youth fashion controversies". One has to be either sexually repressed or mired in political correctness to get upset over some of these images. The only thing about this that seems obscene to me is the price of this apparel when compared to other brands.
