We have been in enough fighting lately. Let's just hand it over to the Mexican Air Force.

N. Korea will fire a rocket at the US only when it wishes to cease to exist. It's nothing more than Kim Jong Un trying to flex his muscle in his new position.
Never underestimate an enemy though. N. Korea's strength shouldn't be underestimated and neither should the amount of American casualties as well as money it would take to dispose of that regime permanently.

The people are brainwashed and every waking moment centers around the Kim family and must have the "dear leaders" picture on their walls so they can thank him every day. It is actually cult like. He is dictator is ruling the country and has isolated it from the rest of the world. He controls all TV, internet, radio, etc. Nobody is allowed to leave the country or come in, so the people inside really don't know about the outside world at all.
However, just because they are poor, it doesn't mean that they can't fight a war.

Yuppppppppppp thank you. That is exactly what my friends korean friend, told my son. The people are bluntly brainwahsed and believe the hype they are told.
The way he makes it sound, you have to constantly praise the ONE. Who in the hell is the one. This is by far a dictator Country, and that crackpot dictator is the one ruling. Will a whacko crackpot never follow thru with his threats.
The way my son's friend makes it truly sound, they live in the dark ages and everything is an controlled enviroment.

Id like to agree with you. I have to wonder, just how crazy are some of these people.
However unlikely, I hope we are taking them very seriously and are prepared for anything theyve got, which I sure we are.
I just wish we could show the people of NK what freedom is. Unless Im wrong, Im under the impression that just about everything they know about the world outside their country, is heavily regulated and filtered by their government. I dont think they have any idea what it means to not be in NK. Id like to think if they had just a taste, a glimpse....perhaps that could slowly start something.

There have been some interesting videos leaked out. Americans are catching birds and cooking them for food, and making coffee from melted snow...
But, it's the "crazy" that concerns me. The country is isolated kingdom. Even China sided with the sanctions. That about leaves him no one. So, my question becomes...
What kind of relations do they have with Al Queda? Is there the same "FRY YOURSELF JUST TO TAKE OUT THE TARGET" mentality that Al Queda used so successfully in the past? WTC comes to mind. Much of the west coast of California is within range. Even if the accuracy of the longest range missiles is in question, he does not have to hit a city. Might be nice if he could, but all he has to do is detonate on dry land. That puts up a huge radioactive dust cloud that gets to drift and settle across the US. That dust cloud would stand to make our food supply too radioactive to be safe. The damage would be far more than just the west coast.
We've got a lot of ocean to take the missiles out over before they get here. I'm hoping we don't miss any.
