Why are you addressing this to me (by quoting me)? When have I bashed the Canadian health care system?

I never said you bashed it. I just said that like you, I'm tired of hearing about it, especially by people who have virtually no clue.

So now we know we should just encourage them to keep going till they reach Canada.

Unlike you, Canada won't let them in.

Strange you should say that as some of them you LET in so easily keep right on going until they either make it into our country or get stopped at the border. Universal health care attracts everybody.

Immigrants don't do it for the health care, they do it for the money.

Any chance the American trials lawyers association would agree to make it next to impossible to get "lottery" money from malpractice lawsuits?

That's what comes with most socialized healthcare systems. They have some type of arbitration, loser pays system etc.

Not a chance. We all know that.

What Americans want is a cheap health system, that's just as fast with very little waiting times and advanced as the private practice service they still enjoy, yet at the same same still want to sue their doctors.

That's like a woman saying she wants not only a man who works hard and is successful, yet has time for her needs. Is a strong man but also attentive to her needs.
