The analogy is poor unless we are talking about hurtling the stove at 700mph. Then, yeah, we should totally ban really really strong dudes who can throw stoves at that speed.

My state of Connecticut is a pile of liberal and leeching crap. Using a crisis and emotion of victims to infringe upon our rights is shameful.

Morally bankrupt should never be uttered from your mouth. We could stack corpses from here to the moon with the bodies of aborted fetuses, thugs you let loose in urban America and the civilians BO drone strikes day after day in the ME.

Please, I literally laugh out loud when someone as dumb as you interjects into a thread. Care to keep me entertained jester?

Pity it is one of the 13 original colonies, they now are all an embarrassment to the original idea of America.

You are promoting and winning me over on the idea of abortion with your product - your uneducated, ignorant mind.

It sure is. Bad enough that people here just keep accepting taxes that keep going higher and higher, one of the highest gas taxes, high cost of living, horrible roads, etc. Now many will just stand by as these political scum bags take away rights.

Laws address and control the user not the product.

Apparently at least the simple majority. We have too many people that are fat and happy, too dumb to know what day it is and ask you to fire up the money printer whenever there is an kind of financial issue since they lack the most basic of economic principles.

If you haven't come to grips with it, sooner than later this will be the North/West vs South/Midwest which will eventually probably lead to two Americas. Literally, two countries.

The reason most would say it or I am crazy to want or think it would happen, I actually cherish the notion for a very basic reason and this is why..

We can finally divide the assets like a well managed divorce, send them both out on their own and see which system works better. The ultimate side-by-side experiment, except this time the losing governing country won't be able to simply levy a massive tax on the people who save, work and profit to reset the game and try again.

Also a part of me wants to see the devastation of a giant gaggle of Liberals/Socialists failing to make government ends meet because no one works and contributes GDP to satisfactory levels (Greece/Eurozone), the system will implode under its own weight then you can watch them glaze over, smitten with the same epiphany a child gets when they finally realize Santa Claus doesn't exist.

Even that is still stupid, would you feel safe that whoever is doing the pat-downs would never miss a weapon over a 4 year period?

So, using 180 day school year, x4 year = 720 days. 500 kids in the HS? 720 x 500 = 360,000 pat downs in 4 years.

If he has a 1% failure rate, that means 3600 students interactions could potentially breach the security over that time.

Even at .1% it is 360 students interactions.

One kid that is crazy, pays attention to patterns, lazy guards, or another soft area and it is Adam L 2.0 shooting fish in a barrel.

There is no way they are doing pat-down on every student, everyday which ruins the entire system anyway.
