Have you noticed how the leftwing socialist main stream media is not covering this story.

Basically this treaty would trump our 2nd amendment.

No one is covering it because international treaties cannot trump the US constitution.

This is basic law 101, and knowledge of how our legal system works. If you love America then you should know how laws in it work, or at least attempt to educate yourself on them. I know you have been shown this fact a number of times already since this is not your first thread on the same subject.

Our constitutional rights trump any treaty with the U.N. My rights are individual rights. I am not a member of the U.N.

The fact that right-wingers are so scared of the incompetent U.N. is ridiculous. Cockroaches are more menacing than the U.N. ever could be.

Not worried about this at all, they don't have the votes in the senate to approve it.

No, our Constitution does NOT trump ANY lawfully entered international treaty. The Constitution specifically allows for treaties. You are delusional if you think the Constitution will override any treaty entered into.

SCOTUS says differently. The constitution is the supreme law in the land. The court will strike down any treaty that goes against the constitution.
