As a staunch republican and whos spouse works for the FED I'd like to thank the president. This guys name isnt Bush or Romney. 5% of his salary is a nice chunk of change and probably concerning for him and his family to have to part with. I understand that as a former president he will never want for anything again but if I were making what he is making $400,000.00 a year coming from where I come from 5% of that would take a little considedration

This year is the only year he has been late on his budget.
The budgets have been voted down every year because they have been amended by republicans.
again, this has been addressed before. the only thing the president submits is an outline of a budget, not an actual budget. it is the House and Senate that add in the details. But calling it the "President's budget" has a better ring to it i guess.
