Actually I would suspect that fewer children in the U.S. die or are seriously injured in bicycle accidents than are killed or seriously injured by guns.

And so what? Thirty thousand injuries from BB guns and pellet guns are insignificant? The hundreds of children killed in gun accidents is just OK? We should nothing to prevent them? I do not agree.
Why are you trying to equate a bb gun to a real gun? They aren't the same thing. Don't worry though. The ATF is hard at work between smuggling guns to Mexico they still have time to confiscate toy guns.

ATF seizes 30 toy guns, infuriating local business owner - Koinlocal6.com

Now that I think about it, airsoft guns are actually more popular now. Airsoft guns have alot more variety and cheaper ammo. Plus the ammo glows in the dark.

Did I say that? I said that the parents in this instance should be charged. I said I wouldn't allow a 7 year old to shoot a pellet gun.

Your solution?

I saw you change the argument here. I know you think you were clever but I saw you do it.

I'm not sure anyone has argued for shooting kids if that is what you are now trying to counter.

Because he has an agenda.
Truth along with his good friends, honesty and integrity are early victims when zealots murder reason in the name of their cause.

"Children are at particularly high risk for bicycle-related injuries, with those under 14 years of age accounting for 13% of the fatalities, making this one of the most frequent causes of injury related death for young children. Bicycle helmet use by children 4 to 15 would prevent 39,000 to 45,000 head injuries and 18,000 to 55,000 scalp and face injuries annually."

"In 1998, nearly 362,000 children ages 14 and under were treated in hospital emergency rooms for bicycle-related injuries."

What the heck are you talking about? Several of the posters on here are saying that bikes are just as dangerous as guns. I absolutely do not agree. And I don't feel like digging for data at this hour, but I'll bet the data support what I'm saying.

But there are millions more children using bikes every day. Not so many using guns. Lots of things kill people. Gun lovers always try to steer the argument away from guns by speciously talking about other sources of death and injury. Yes, there are hundreds of other causes. This thread is about guns.

The fact that kids get injured on bikes has nothing to do with gun safety, OK. Two different topics.

You addressed what I said. If you are not talking to me do not quote me.

I did notice you didn't answer the question I posed to you though. Post #43.

So your comlpaint isn't about keeping kids safe, just that you don't want them owning things you don't like?
