Mr. Carl was not forced out, He may have been passed over, but not pushed out. As a civil empolyee, he had ample opporutnity to move to another department.
The jury awarded the 300K back pay, the Judge tacted on the 1.8.
I'm wondering why this case is note worthy...discrimination cases go on everyday all over America?
Do I have to spell it out for you? It says why it's noteworthy right in the title.
he sued because he was right and the county was wrong. good for him, am glad he will now retire comfortably.
He was not the most qualified applicant then. If he was already acting then he must not have done a good job. So he gets passed over because he was not the most qualified and now people let him play victim He gets tax payer money. Why not just give the job to the most qualified person

This will be a great argument if Biden decides to run in 2016.
Trayvon Martin's parents file a wrongful death suit, and they're just gold diggers trying to cash in on their son's death.
This guy files a suit alleging discrimination because he didn't get the job he thought he should, and he's celebrated.

Geeeeeeezes, did you two even read the piece? I didn't think so - or you did and it went entirely over your heads. Congratulations.
The whole point is the woman that was hired A) was believed to be chosen partially because of her sex and race which is against Georgia's discrimination laws and B) did not even interview for the position.
Does almost everyone enjoy going off about something without even looking it over?

DING DING DING!
Can't believe these leftist liberals couldn't even see something THAT simple. Or they just were having NOTHING to do with a white man actually being righted for a change and not getting the shaft. Pathetic.
