States should not have the power to restrict any constitutional right. I don't know why they've been allowed to do so.

I agree, every state should allow people to carry a weapon if they choose.

Anyone can be a victim.

Don't stop there. Why not an old ICBM? I think I have a few laying around from the 1960's

With the statement below? You say you will lead the way to sanity? Hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, no self respecting gun owner, would ever give a gun to a child to protect themselves, well I guess you would.....

Only thing you have done is show you are well on your way to , spewing leftist talking points such as yours below!

I saw one for sale on Backpage the other day.

It's perfectly legal to own one. The projectiles are heavily regulated, however. They're NFA items, which means that on top of the cost of the item, you have to fingerprinted, undergo a comprehensive background check and pay the feds $200 for a tax stamp - for each rocket. Pretty expensive ammo, eh?

I am pretty sure the folks advocating for gay marriage are explicitly opposed to states rights while most gun people are allegedly for states rights. I think the idea that Kennedy might go against DOMA for states rights reasons as opposed to a fundamental rights argument is not seen as a good thing.

My question however, is why limit myself to the lame weapons every "punk" uses. My choice would be a rocket launcher (I need to target intruders before they reach my property). Also a rapid fire cannon with armor piercing ammo should be installed on the roof of my house in case of aerial attack. I want to exercise my rights according to the second amendment, which was the intend of the founding fathers. It bothers me why the debate is centered only on stupid rifles and pistols. We should adopt modern weapons!
Nah, go bigger... make a spud gun!
