Nutjobs. First off college students shouldn't be having sex and second the Catholic Church opposes gay marriage.

Everything about your post is not correct, even the name of the college, when you figure out what the story REALLY is and what college they are talking about, try again.

But Priests having sex with children of either gender(mostly males) is OKAY?

And then most of the people commenting don't even care that the students are actually religious and that this is not a Catholic school.

Anyway, for those actually interested in what is really going on with this situation at GW:

The priest is free to practice his religion, counsel according to the teachings of his church and has freedom of speech.

The snot-nosed little pukes have the right to freedom of speech. They spoke and now they need to shut up.

The media needs to cover stories that are actually important (why does anybody at the national level care what these two kids think?).

Why? What was posted about is what is in the "story".

Find your own church that accepts you.

They're out there.

Mine is a huge liberal Catholic church.

I tell my youngest son not to start of relationships with woman on a sexual basis. I explain that it is not a good thing and leads to emotional confusion. I learned from experience that sex first leads to problems. To tell someone gay or straight to avoid sex is usually good advice. Let people know each other first before they become intimate. The way the new modern way stands - youth are encouraged to have sex before they have a clue to what is going on...it's bad advice to put sex before love and knowledge.

And that article has nothing to do with what is going on at GWU.

GWU is in DC and the article talks about a kid from Vermont.
The gay Catholic kid from Vermont is one of the GW students trying to oust the Chaplin at the GW Newman Center.
