Getting shot while you are unarmed can change a person's attitude toward firearms.

To be fair, she likes guns and likes shooting them. It's merely her asstronaut hubby who doesn't want others to be able to do otherwise. This will assure them safety and security since they will be in the inner circle and others will not.

very true, should make a person want more firearms to be in their possession. less gun control is needed, not more.

Her and her husband are pathetic disgraces of Americans. Two political whores that endanger public safety and destroy public property (read the story on the family dog) at the same time they go on a gun grabbing campaign.

Take your cake jobs, retire into the sunset and begone.

Hate to be a wet blanket and douse this thread, but they don't own an AR-15. What the right-wing noise machine left out of their rant that Mark Kelly was a hypocrite and bought an AR-15, was the fact he trying to see how hard it was to buy an AR-15. If successful he was going to turn it into the police. But he was not successful.

(CNN) -- An Arizona gun store says it has canceled a recent purchase of an AR-15 semiautomatic rifle by Mark Kelly thwarting the retired astronaut's attempt to demonstrate how easy it is to buy high-powered weapons.

Kelly, the husband of former Rep. Gabby Giffords and an outspoken advocate for new gun control measures, had in recent interviews said he was buying the rifle to showcase what he said are unobtrusive background checks.

LOL, yes he always intended to "turn it in". LMAO

On second thought, I'm thinking Gabby preferred shooting the AR-15, otherwise she would've never sent her asstronaut hubby to get one for them.

Not so fast. Mark is going for a cushy .gov job and playing lap dog will offer an increased pension and compensation plan. Wouldn't you do the same under their circumstances? Plus, under a gun ban, he'll be exempted as he is pro-gun control. Friends and family get priority of obtaining guns during ban periods. They're just looking out for themselves, can you blame them?

it doesnt matter what gifford likes to shoot, as long as it is only the liberal elite are the ones shooting them and not the normal people who elect them into office.

Are you questioning the retired Navy captain and astronaut's word?
