It is a symptom of being UIL - under the influence of liberalism.
Sorry, but you don't know what you're talking about--it's called UIS--under the influence of stupidity. By federal law, the only people required to perform background checks are people engaged in the interstate commerce of firearms, or people who are engaged "in the business" of selling firearms. Many states have no restrictions on the private sale of firearms at gun shows. All sales, even private sales, should be subject to a thorough background check, and the requirements for being able to purchase a gun should be strengthened.
Gun shows in the United States - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 'Presently, 18 states regulate private firearm sales at gun shows. Seven states require background checks on all gun sales at gun shows (California, Colorado (§12-26.1-101 and § 24-33.5-424, CRS), Rhode Island, Connecticut, Oregon, New York, and Illinois). Four states (Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania) require background checks on all handgun, but not long gun, purchasers at gun shows. Six states require individuals to obtain a permit to purchase handguns that involves a background check (Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina, Iowa, Nebraska). Certain counties in Florida require background checks on all private sales of handguns at gun shows. The remaining 33 states do not restrict private, intrastate sales of firearms at gun shows in any manner'

Private sales do take place at gun sales, but that is not what you said.
You said that background checks aren't conducted at gun shows, conveniently leaving out the important detail that this is only true for private sales.
Dealers at gun shows do conduct background checks.
But don't let inconvenient facts get in the way of a good bash.
Within minutes, a young male student was interviewed where he said he wished they were allowed to have guns, but since they can't have guns, all they could do was pray and depend on God.

Thanks for the confirmation that students had more options than to just pray and depend on God.
Cypress....Stabbing attacks at Texas college 14 wounded.
CYPRESS, Texas — A student went on a building-to-building stabbing attack at a Texas community college Tuesday, wounding at least 14 people before being subdued and arrested, authorities said.
The four people taken by helicopter and two others with moderate injuries were taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital. Of those six, two were in critical condition and four were in fair condition Tuesday afternoon, hospital spokeswoman Alex Rodriguez said.
This is a terrible thing on any campus guns, knives whatever that attacks are the sad thing is if they really want to attack fellow students they are going to and no thing is going to stop them. We need to be teaching our kids survival skills for these instances.
Are they dead? No. There are 14 injured. That's the operative word. No one is trying to ban guns--just make sure that we have thorough background checks for every gun sale, and banning high capacity mags. There's a difference.

Sorry, but you're wrong.

OR was supposed to be FOR, and it was pretty obvious from my post that that's what I meant to say. It doesn't make sense otherwise, especially since I went into detail to explain just that in my next post. I made a minor typo. Nice try.
