Garbage.
I didn't "mislead" anyone.
And if what you say in your last sentence is true, then why do you care?

What a hoot.

At least it's refreshing to find a gay-advocate with a sense of humor.
Interesting.
Where did I say "there's no such thing as same-sex marriage?"
And I am not "pretending" anything.

Accusing me of something I did not say or do is disrespectful.

You need to lay off the cheap acid, dude.

By the way, although you have been slapping at your keyboard like a drunk in a hornet's nest for a few days, you never answered The Question: Would You Support a Law Banning Divorce?

Crickets...

They always run when They Think their arguments have been boxed up and handed back to them. Whether or not they actually have been is immaterial.

This sort of thing makes a lot of people wonder, since they cannot convince anyone of anything--much less (in a lot of cases) answer the simple question at the beginning of this thread--if their own convictions are all that solid.

Laird Forbid, they would actually have to consider a point of view that does not completely agree with their preconceived notions--and while pointing their fingers at everyone else, they are guilty of what they are accusing others of doing, while their cred wraps around their ankles like oversized boxer shorts.

But do they even notice?

- A law should be passed banning marriage period. What right does the church or state have in the control of breeding couples ? In effect marriage was banned as we know it when it was for all intent degenerated to meaninglessness..through that passing of laws that enforced the legality of same sex marriages. Once marriage was legally described as not being a contract between a man and a woman but a contract that including everybody and everything..Then that was the end of it.

As for divorce....of course it should be illegal...especially if you as a pair bring children into the world...If marriage was to be real - the bond could not ever be broken. Marriage is a joke.

After all, it would Directly address "The Sanctity of Marriage," without all of this government intervention and needless, wasteful expense.

Thoughts?
I would think about it, but I would say no. People do need to get a divorce if the relationship goes to hell. Also, a better option is offer it as an alternative. People are different and should be allowed to choose depending on what they consider important.

I rather would support getting the government out of the marriage business. Let couples decide themselves what the rules of the marriage is.

I agree with you. What amazes me though is that there are many people who are for so-called "limited government" and yet they want to bar things like gay marriage, etc. I guess there are hypocrites who want "limited government" only when it's in their favor.

So if the wife and kids are being abused they should just "stick it out"? That doesn't help the kids, it hurts them. People like you should try to gain some common sense. Saying you should stay in an abusive relationship is ignorance at its finest.
