This isn't my first rodeo, ive been hearing the same things for the last 20 years here in California, yet crime doesn't change but more laws are passed.
Really? Violent crime in California peaked in 1992.

I almost see at as more of political vendetta against non Democrats. I don't know how the grabbers can't see that the laws will be ineffective, so there has to be some other motive. Best guess I can figure is that most issues out there are divided on partisan lines (immigration, guns, drugs, abortion, religion, etc). As such the Democrats are less concerned with giving up freedom (which is theirs too) than they are about 'winning' a battle against Republicans. Almost a cut off your nose to site your face scenario. 'Hey, crime will be worse than ever and murders/home invasions will go up.....but at least my party beat yours on something.'

Correct, but you said "crime doesn't change." I simply demonstrated that it has fallen.

I know what you're going to say next: "It's not because of gun laws." Whatever.

Next?

In order:

all semi-auto rifles

semi and pump shotguns

semi-auto pistols

all pistols

all rifles

all shotguns

black powder guns

airguns

toy guns

the word "gun"

Luckily rocks will still remain legal, however :

Yes, but they will want to ban assault rocks, and you can only have 10 rocks at a time.

It has fallen with the national avergae. If gun control worked their would be marked imporvments when laws passed, which there isn't.

True, but that doesn't mean we don't need better gun laws. The reasons that crime fell are reasons you probably won't like.

How will any of these new laws punish responsible citizens? Background checks are pretty much the only thing that will get through. Ct. excluded.

Speculating over proposed national laws is a waste of time.
