When R's suggested this the Left ran commercials on TV about Granny being pushed off a cliff. Now that Obama is proposing it, they are defending it???? What loser partisan hacks....
Nothing I said was unfactual. There is no commandment that says that taxes can only rise to a portion of what they were in the Clinton years. The goal should be to raise them to the rates that Reagan accepted.
Social Security has no crisis and it's silly to reduce benefits now out of fear that if we don't we'll have to reduce them in the future.
lol, but you left out the politics didn't you. I just love when the greedy liberals fight to make other people more poor.
huh???
home owners insurance has skyrocketed
home owners property tax has skyrocked
homeowner costs(like hotwater heaters, ac units etc) have skyrocketed
homeowners feel the hurt MORE than renters
None of the above is true, at least not in Florida. On the contrary, insurance and property tax has declined.
But homeowners are probably staying ahead of inflation when Obama is done with their Social Security check; it's the renters (who have to pay for 100% of their consumption) who are getting hosed.
If you're paying for only 50% of your consumption and COLA is reduced by 25% you are still ahead of where you were the previous year.
There is always someone who is getting hosed. It is impossible to keep everyone happy about everything. I am surprised so many GOP people oppose cuts in SS.

While you say the left is defending this, that's far from reality, (as usual.)
I'm pretty sure he meant lefties on this website, and I doubt many of those people are here posting
Thank you! I thought it was obvious, but I guess not for some...
