I don't know much about prop 8, i can't believe LA county voted yes.

But can't you be against it and still have it legal in your state?
I know many Iowans who are for only Male-Female marriage but they are fine with the legal status in their state.

If Iowans were so for it why did they vote out the judges that allowed gay marriage in Iowa?

I can't speak for all Iowans, i'm just saying i know some who are highly against gay marriage but still support legalizing it in the state because they don't want to be selfish.

Ah. Personally my beliefs on it have evolved...I was very against it before but lately. I just don't care. Let them marry doesn't bother me at all...doesn't change me. I saw a homosexual couple at wal mart yesterday personally I think homosexuality isn't normal or OK but that's my personal view of it. If it makes them happy then so be it.

Huh? I thought they had legalized it already years ago along with Argentina, didn't know they just did.

Behind what? majority of the world has same sex marriage illegal.

Some African countries have legalized Polygamous marriages, would that mean that Florida is "behind" Sudan?

Funny the more socialist and more backward a nation is- and the more the nation really has no great prospect for the future the government tosses bones to the dogs...and brings about same sex marriage. This is pandering to a select few progressives that do not realize that this bit of social engineering is regressive and not progressive. It's like a pandering little bribe for a few socialist votes.
