/They must explain to the anti-gun people why they shouldn't be scared of scary guns, why there shouldn't be a database of all the guns, why there shouldn't be a buyback, why proposed gun regulations will do nothing, and why the second amendment is important. Otherwise, those uninformed about guns will scare too easily and the government will do their best to take away the guns.

Do you remember the US Supreme Court 2A case ruling on Nunchuka[nunchucks]? What did that case have to do with "guns"?

They're brain dead and deaf as a doornail. They don't care. They would rather stand helplessly by and watch innocent children get killed than arm teachers and guards.

In their logic, banning guns means no more school shootings.

Sorry, you are trying to be logical. Logic is not allowed on the political forums.
Emotion rules.
The big question is, will Congress listen to the emotion-charged Sandy Hook Lobbyists, or will they listen to the fake polls, or will they listen to THEIR CONSTITUENTS?
Personally, I think, for the sake of their careers, they best listen to their constituents!

Logic should damn well be not only allowed but encouraged in political discussion.

Try to talk logic to these people and get back to me.

Pro-gun people have the responsibility of educating anti-gun people about the second amendment.

(sigh)

Another rule about how normal people have to accommodate ignorant, paranoid big-govt control freaks?

If you want to go around announcing new rules like this, when will you get around to announcing rules for them to accommodate simple, clear laws like the 2nd amendment, instead of telling us we have to accommodate them?

BTW, regarding the anti-gun-rights big-govt control freaks' lack of "education" on the subject... since when is ignorance of the law, an excuse for violating it?

Well, on this specific issue, for the most part, the anti-gun people are a bit ignorant about certain things, and the people qualified to inform them are the pro-gun people, since naturally they know more about guns.
