That was about the most hate filled, ignorant rant that I've read here in a while. I have Muslim friends. There are 2.2 billion Muslims world wide, and now every single one of them is an evil terrorist who trains their children to kill people. Somethings really wrong with you.
The critical aspect here is that this offensively hateful bigotry is, effectively, the product of American socialization (at least from certain quarters thereof). I'm scared for the safety of myself and my friends, given that this terrorist is loose in the area, but after today, the more lingering concern I'll have is with regard to the danger that so many regular-everyday-Americans pose, given how quick they were to project vicious hate.
No, I don't. Having a POTUS linked to a demographic that teaches their followers to kill us doesn't make me feel better.
Um...you do realize that extreme Islamists represent a very small percentage of followers of Islam. It's very simple statistics. Take the entire worldwide population of Muslims and calculate the incidence rate of terrorists among that entire population. Even if there were 100,000 terrorists, in a population of 1.62 Billion that is a tiny fraction of a percentage.
The same could be said for the tiny percentage of zealot Christians who kill abortion providers.
It's too small of a number to generalize.
