You know Harrier, whenever I see that, I report it. I think anyone who does that should get a big infraction. I reported the above. If I've ever seen one of your posts that someone has tampered with, it's been reported. You can also report it yourself.
I hope that you come to my defense the next time someone does that to me.

It's pretty sad if quoting someone, modifying the quote and saying "fixed" would get deleted. It's normal forum protocol. Now if someone modified your post without calling it out, that's a different story.
Russia might know because they keep intel on that region. They have had some run-ins with radical islamist in Chechnya. It is a complex and bitter history in that region that dates back to the 16th century. The region has somewhat stabilized recent. The history goes back even further, but I am not a history book, so...

I learned that lesson real quick not long after I joined here. I didn't get an infraction, but I think it was the very first post of mine that got deleted here.

Really? She altered a post that someone else made, and posted it under their (Harrier's) name as if that was what he wrote. Her own comment was "fixed". I've seen that before and I think it's awful. Someone could think that's what he wrote.
I think he could communicate by blinking, at the very least. Doesn't require the sign language.
Well - yes - but his future attorney would have a field day with that.
People can blink involuntarily, and such a paradigm would require a binary inquiry system - as in "yes or no".
What if he blinked involuntarily - and that was admitted as "evidence"?
Nope - they need to establish a reliable communication system.
