The Dow Jones industrial average extended its winning streak to 10 days on Thursday, a string of gains last seen in late 1996, and ended at another record high as investors were encouraged by data showing the labor market's recovery was improving.
Dow ends up for 10th day, S&P nears record high: Thomson Reuters Business News - MSN Money

Labor market is improving, markets are up, home values are improving...where is that tragic crash we have been assured will happen year after year in Obama's first term? Where are all the horrible things that were to happen right after Obama was elected for the second time?

Where have all the doomersayers gone now that things are improving drastically?

I don't think muttering "Just you wait..." will cut it after the last 4 years of the same.

Let me get this right... first its not Obama's fault cause the Republicans won't let him do anything... then its the Republicans fault for when things go bad... now its Obama's success that cause the DOW to increase... meanwhile nothing has changed since the beginning... are you liberals THAT stupid?

Do you even understand why the dow is skyrocketing? Could it be quantitative easing? If you print 10x more money, without producing 10x more value, everything will skyrocket. Food, commodities, clothing, the DOW...etc.

67M people still on food stamps, unemployment still above 15% (7.8% is fudged accounting) and 1/2 the high paying jobs have been converted to low paying jobs. How many 29 hour a week employees will there be in 2014?

The reality is that things aren't better. Let me know when the debt goes down, not just future spending.

This is Barnankes last year so we will see what takes place after, I say it is a safe bet he will QE all of 13. That way he can go out with a solid record but leaves a mess, aka the Greenspan. And then he could claim he never saw anything bad coming from his policies, it hit him like a freight train. I think I saw this movie before.

People will come up with all kinds of creative theories to explain why this is a very bad thing, or completely meaningless, but I am happy. The retirees are happy. 401K owners are happy. The 300 000 new millionaers are happy. Corporations are happy. Main street is happy. Wall Street is happy. A lot of people are happy becauseof it.

If a bunch of partisan hacks are not happy.......well, that's too bad, but maybe they should have invested in the stock market as opposed to canned food when they had the chance.
